On the first and third Saturdays, April through October, the Growing Kids Club is open 8–11 a.m. Kids ages 3-15 may participate in Market activities ranging from planting a summer garden using starters from our Market vendors; making beet juice dye and stamping; carving zucchini boats; participating in a Market scavenger hunt; making salsa using Market fresh produce; watering and picking weeds from the Club garden; planting seeds for Mothers Day and more!
Also a part of the Growing Kids Club is the opportunity to be a part of the Growing Kids Booth twice a year. If you have a garden at home and would like to share your harvest with Market–goers, simply email the Market Manager. Be sure to read the Growing Kids Guidelines. It’s easy!
Thanks to our friends at Summit Coffee for donating space for us to plant the Growing Kids Club Garden.
